When you are pretty much comfortable with any library , you can go for DirectX or OpegGL. These are really low level tools and takes a lot of time of time to master. If you really wanna be a great game developer you must learn at least any one of these.

You can also use Unity . It's the most popular game engine today specially for building indie games. You can use either C# or Javascript(Unityscript) to build your games with Unity. Their official website has everything you need to start working with Unity.
